“Dedicated to changing healthcare for the better – one patient at a time.”

  • So often we are quick to criticize and complain when services do not meet our expectations but somewhat slower to take time to commend and praise when services exceed expectations. I do not want this to be the case with me. I want to acknowledge and thank you, your organization and most specifically Ms. Glenda Smith, RN. Unfortunately my husband was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer. We are in the beginning processes of pursuing what will be a long, difficult road to recovery. Needless to say as his care-giver I am overwhelmed with the many decisions required in this process. We are fortunate to have a nephew and cousin that are surgeons and have expertise in the gastroenterology field to advise and guide us. However, I'm sure you would agree it takes more than just doctors to ensure a patient's treatment path is met compassionately, professionally and with his or her best interest kept in the forefront. It is with sincere and great appreciation to tell you Ms. Smith and Mid-Delta Home Health has exceeded my expectations. First, I wish to make you aware of how promptly Ms. Smith responded to our needs which happened to be after normal business hours. This spoke volumes to me that Mid-Delta Home Health realizes sickness and health needs do not always occur between the hours of 8a.m. and Sp.m. Second, I would like to address how quickly she assessed the situation and our needs recognizing my distress an.d emotional status at the time. There is no doubt she has compassion for her fellow man well beyond "a pay check" and routine job requirements. Finally, when she felt she needed support from her CEO and called you at 9p.m. and you answered on the first or second ring, I realized Mid-Delta Home Health wasn't an organization that left their staff unsupported and it went all the way to the top! I was impressed! I would be remiss in not telling you I feel Ms. Smith has gone above and beyond her job requirements in our case. She alone made me a very satisfied client and glad Baptist Hospital Oxford gave Mid-Delta Home Health the referral! I will tell others how pleased I have been and that Mid-Delta exceeds expectations! Respectfully,

    Suzy G. Johnson Director
  • For the past several weeks, it has been our pleasure to observe and listen .to the working activities and service rendered to our sister, Minetta Coleman, by James Trimble, physical therapist of Mid-Delta. When Mr.Trimble entered our home, he introduced himself to the client and to the family. He explained before he could proceed with service for the client and assessment had to be made. This would be done through questions, observing activities, and listening to the client's goals. Although we were not in the immediate area where actual procedures began, just listening to instructions which were direct, carefully explained in a soft tone, we could tell that reinforcements were with concern and praise. The improvements and trainings of Minetta have been an unbelievable miracle. Because it has been so interesting observing and listening to Mr.Trimble, we mentioned that we wished we had videoed his activities. Perhaps the tape could be used as a teaching instrument or an outlook to Minetta how far she has progressed. In behalf of Minetta Coleman and her family, we are happy to rate Mr. James Trimble as superior. Our final comment is, "HE IS ONE IN A MILLION!" With grateful appreciation,
