Volunteer* Opportunities

We are always seeking volunteers for our hospice programs. When a hospice volunteer is assigned to a patient, that volunteer becomes an important member of that patient’s health care team.

Hospice volunteers offer gifts to the patients and their family, such as:

• Respite care for family members and other caregivers;
• Companionship; and
• Support before and during the bereavement process.

Training is provided based on your skills, talents and experience. Our volunteers become invested in Mid-Delta’s policy of putting patients first and treating patients and their families with dignity and respect.
